Sad To Be Alone – The Power of Friends

Sad To Be Alone – The Power of Friends

Ever since the Garden of Eden when Adam gave up a rib to have a companion, we’ve known that being alone isn’t what we’re designed to be. People do not do well with loneliness and isolation.

I see it in my patients all the time. Feeling isolated often leads to sadness and depression.

Loneliness raises levels of circulating stress hormones and blood pressure. It makes it harder to sleep.

And it’s not just older people. It’s people of all ages. You can be in a work setting where you want to talk about things that are troubling you, but you’d never want your co-workers to know what you’re going through.

The good news is there are many women who feel the same way who would love to share their experiences and give and get feedback in the right setting.

In just over a week, I’m starting an exciting new program called the Hormone Health Bootcamp. You can be part of a community of women coming together for support, information and help with hormones and life balance.

My co-Founder, women’s health advocate Reena Jadhav will join me to help support you and keep you on track over the 14 days we spend together virtually. There will be daily emails to guide you, weekly calls to inform and support you, and a Facebook group to connect you, and a new community to be part of who are going through many of the same things you are.

Be one of the first to join this new community and you can bring a friend at no cost.

Start creating new habits and new connections now.
