Music Monday: Your Heart is A Pump – a Tribute to American Heart Month

When was the last time your pump had a tune-up? Of course I’m talking about your heart. It’s the size of your fist and it works 24/7 to to bring oxygen to every cell in your body from before you are born till your dying day.

This week’s Music Monday salutes American Heart Month and whimsically reminds us how hard our hearts work to keep us healthy and active. You get your car inspected every year. Be sure you also get your heart inspected every year as well. You’ve only got one heart!

Did you know that heart disease remains the leading cause of death for women in the United States? Ten times more women die from heart disease than from breast cancer. February is the perfect time to make an appointment with your doctor if you have not had a checkup within the past year.
