Memorial Day is a chance for us all to pay homage to those who died in defense of our country. But this year has added another layer to Memorial Day.
In addition to the thousands of troops that have died in service to our country, in the last few months roughly 100,000 Americans have died as a result of Covid-19. Many of them were Veterans.
I wrote this instrumental composition as a Memorial Day tribute to commemorate those who have died and made it into a musical commemorative video. The NY Times printing of 1,000 Americans lost to Covid-19 yesterday as only one percent of the total deaths brings even added significance to the day.
