Music Monday: Liquid Candy in honor of National Nutrition Month

March is National Nutrition Month. In honor of it, I’d like to share the music video, Liquid Candy.

It’s about drinking too much soda.

Soda is called “empty calories.” You get the calories without the nutrition.

How much soda do you think the average American drinks?

If you guessed 45 gallons per person per year, or about 375 pounds of soda passing through your gut, you guessed correctly.

Translate that into weight and it’s a simple equation…

Drink one less soda a day for a year and lose between 10-15 pounds.

Liquid Candy is a song that makes the point. Click on the video below to listen and watch.

Music and Lyrics and sung by Mache Seibel, piano Ben Schwendener.

Pour yourself a glass of nice cold water and enjoy!
