What makes your relationship special?
Is it the huge gifts? The big money? The exotic trips? The fancy car?
For some the answer would be yes. But for most, when they stop to think about it, it’s the little things that make a big difference.
A special smile; a gently touch; never forgetting a special event; the calls to say hello; lighting up when that person walks into the room.
After all the big things are forgotten, it’s often the little things you do that bring a warm smile to your partner’s face, especially after people have been together for a really long time.
Today’s Music Monday is called The Little Things You Do – a way to make everyday feel like Valentine’s Day.
I wrote this song as a special tribute to my inlaws for their 50th wedding anniversary since their marriage exemplified the spirit of the song. Music, lyrics, vocals by Mache Seibel; piano, Ben Schwendener.
